Kick In The Head is a joint venture between Andrew Brewis, Simon Downing and Giles Shenton. Between them they have over 95 years experience working in professional theatre and music, including West End shows, national touring productions and performance management. This experience covers everything including performance, direction, writing and production management.
Andrew Brewis is a musician and composer by profession but has also been running his company Noted For Music for over 25 years. Noted For Music specialises in sourcing the highest standard of live music from individual singers & pianists to a full twelve piece jazz orchestra and has produced music and theatre tours around the UK and USA.
Simon Downing has over 30yrs experience in professional theatre. He trained at Guildford School of Acting and has worked with theatre companies such as Pandemonium, Liquid Acrobat, Soapbox Theatre Company, The Phoenix Theatre, Bordon and toured Europe with English Teaching Theatre. He has taken lead acting/singing roles on national touring productions for Bill Kenwright but more recently has moved into teaching, directing and writing.
Giles Shenton worked in the West End for over 8 years and worked on productions such as Grease, Barnum, four Royal Variety Performances and three Olivier Award ceremonies. He used to run his own theatre company but more recently went back to acting with recent productions including the one-man touring productions of Old Herbaceous and My Dog’s Got No Nose.
